  In addition, Indonesian Qingshan adopted RKFE smelting technology, and its steelmaking cost was the lowest in the world. Taiwanese electric furnace smelting cost was higher than that from Indonesian Qingshan and Chinese steel mills.

  In the environment of inferior market, the stainless steel industry surrounded with uncertainty and the domestic demand from Taiwanese stainless steel market was insufficient, which still needed to rely on exports' support.
